Day 1: Negombo / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya
In the morning you will travel in northeast direction to
Polonnaruwa. Capital of the singhalese kings from 8th to 14th century. Inspection of the buildings of temples of Gal Vihara with that four monumental B uddha statues.
In the afternoon travel to
Sigiriya, where you spend one night in the hotel Sigiriya Village.
Day 2: Sigiriya / Dambulla / Kandy
In the early morning you make a trip to
Sigiriya the "Mountain of the Lion", how the
Sigiriya rock is also called. On the way to
Kandy you visit the temple caves of
Dambulla, a spice garden and a batik factory in
Matale. You enjoy the conclusion of this day with a presentation of the traditional Kandy Dancers.

Day 3: Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
After the breakfast you will be able to see one of the most famous relics of the Buddhism. You visit the "Temple of the Tooth Relic".
You will take a real Sri Lankan tea after passing the large area of teaplantations. There you will also visit a tea factory. By passing this area you can also see a lot of beautiful waterfalls.
In the afternoon you can explore the former British health resort
Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya / Kandy / Pinnawela / Negombo
On the return trip to
Kandy you will make a stop and see in
Peradeniya the most beautiful botanical garden of the world. There you will eat your lunch.
In the afternoon you are going to
Pinnawela to the elephant orphanage. You can see the elephants taking a bath in the river and also the feeding of the baby-elephants.
