Day 1: Negombo / Anuradhapura / Sigiriya
In the Morning you will travel to the northeast to a city called
Anuradhapura. There you can discover the ruin city which was 1,400 years long the capital of Sri Lanka. In the afternoon you are going to
Sigiriya, where you will stay for two nights in the hotel Sigiriya Village.
Day 2: Sigiriya / Polonaruwa / Sigiriya
After the breakfast you are going to make a trip to
Polonaruwa, capital of the singhalese kings from 8. to 14. century. You will see the templebuildings of Gal Vihara with the four monumental Buddha statues. In the afternoon you will go back to
Sigiriya and make a short trip to the "Mountain of the Lion".
Overnightstay in the Hotel Sigiriya Village.
Day 3: Sigiriya / Dambulla / Matale / Kandy
On the way to
Kandy you will pass the temple caves of
Dambulla. Also you will stop at a spice garden and the batik fabric at
Matale. After a roundtrip in
Kandy you will visit the most important temple of Sri Lanka: the "Temple of the Tooth Relic". Finally you will see the traditional dancers of
Kandy.

Day 4: Kandy / Peradeniya / Nuwara Eliya
Visit of the most beautiful botanical garden in
Peradeniya. You will take a real Sri Lankan tea after passing the large area of teaplantations. There you will also visit a tea factory. In the afternoon you can explore the former British health resort
Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya / Hambantota
Trip through the winding streets to
Hambantota. You are going on a Jeepsafari in
Bundala-Park. With a little good luck you can see and make pictures from wild elephants, crocodiles, monkeys and diffrent kind of birds.

Day 6: Hambantota / Galle / Hikkaduwa / Colombo / Negombo
In the morning you will go to
Galle. There you can visit the Dutch Fort from the colonial age. After this you drive along the beach to
Hikkaduwa. You will take a glass boat and make a trip to the coral reefs. In case you want, you can also do snorkeling. In
Bentota we will bring you to a turtlefarm. The workers here try
to protect the turtle eggs from enemies. The moment the baby turtles will be two weeks they will bring them back to the sea.
At this point your 6-days-trip will be finished and we will bring you back to your hotel.
